China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, Shenyang Agricultural University and Maximum Academic Press launch Food Innovation and Advances

We are delighted to announce that China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, Shenyang Agricultural University and Maximum Academic Press (MAP) launch a new, open-access journal: Food Innovation and Advances. Professor Xiaojun Liao from China Agricultural University and Professor Weibiao Zhou from the National University of Singapore are the Editors-in-chief of this journal.

Food Innovation and Advances aims to become rigorously peer-reviewed, covering research on the following, but not limit to, green food processing, food logistics, novel food packaging, food engineering, food biotechnology, food emerging technologies, food sustainability, food chemistry, food microbiology and microbiome, food safety and quality, food synthetic biology, new food resources and nutrition and healthiness. Food Innovation and Advances will publish high-quality original research articles, comprehensive reviews, mini-reviews, research highlights and perspectives on a comprehensive scope of food-related themes. Our goal is to shape this journal into the most recognized scientific forum supporting the development of science and technology of food, with a particular focus on advancing and infusing food innovations. This new journal will aim to advance and disseminate scientific research and discovery, and serve the broader food science community. In these ways it will directly support our mission at Food Innovation and Advances.

Professor Xiaojun Liao, Dean of the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering, China Agricultural University, and Professor Weibiao Zhou, Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology, National University of Singapore will be the Editors-in-chief of this journal. We strive to make this journal the most recognized scientific platform supporting the development of food technology, providing effective scientific information for industry and academia."
