Aims and Scope

Circular Agricultural Systems intends to become an authoritative source of innovative information of agricultural systems. The journal provides a crucial platform to promote sustainable food systems research closely related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the food-land-water-nutrient-greenhouse gas nexus. The journal covers agroecology, food production, processing, marketing, agricultural production, and the biomass-based economy. It focuses on interdisciplinary research and systematic solutions to solve critical problems in developing sustainable agriculture. Publication types include research articles, reviews, methods, editorials, and perspectives.

These topics can be as varied as:

● Soil, water, and air quality, and use of energy and non-renewable resources

● Agroforestry and response of multi-species ecosystems to environmental stress

● Sustainable intensification

● Farming system dynamics

● Integrated pest management and crop protection

● Agricultural food, urban waste management, circular agriculture, and economic and socio-cultural dimensions of food systems
