Publication in the journal of Epigenetics Insights is subject to payment of an article processing charge (APC). The APC serves to support the journal and ensures that articles are freely accessible online in perpetuity under a Creative Commons license.

The APC for this journal is $2650 USD in 2025. The article processing charge (APC) is payable when a manuscript is accepted after peer review, before it is published. The APC is subject to taxes where applicable. 

Once the manuscript is accepted, the APC is due, and the author is responsible for paying the amount. The APC is non-refundable. In situations such as withdrawal before publication and retraction after publication, the APC will not be refunded. Additionally, if an article requires retraction, the author(s) will be required to pay a retraction fee to cover the associated costs.
