Aims and Scope

Medicinal Plant Biology is a fully open access, multi-disciplinary journal that publishes research related to model and economically significant medicinal plant species. The journal will offer a venue for promoting academic exchange and disseminating empirical knowledge worldwide.

The scope of content published by Medicinal Plant Biology includes, but is not limited to:

●  Germplasm evaluation, development, and utilization of medicinal plant resources;

●  Genomics and evolutionary biology of medicinal plants;

●  Biosynthesis and regulation of specialized bioactive metabolites;

●  Physiology, biochemistry, and cell biology involved in the processing of traditional medicine;

●  Plant-microbe and plant-environment interactions.
