Ornamental Plant Research is an Open-Access journal supported by article processing charges (APCs).

APC Rate

Ornamental Plant Research levies an Article Processing Charges (APC) per article. Only accepted paper will be charged. Authors whose work is accepted for publication are responsible for paying an APC. The APC for all published articles is as follows (plus VAT or local taxes where applicable): $1950 USD.

Ornamental Plant Research offers APC waivers by the end of June 2025.

The consideration of your submission for publication will remain unaffected by your request for fee support (discount or waiver).

Waivers

Beginning in 2025, the journal Ornamental Plant Research will offer full APC waivers to corresponding authors in the Least Developed Countries (https://unctad.org/topic/least-developed-countries/list). In addition, full or partial waivers may be available to those experiencing financial hardships. Authors should submit a waiver or discount request during the submission of their article. Please request your waiver or discount at the point of submission.
