Soil Science and Environment aims to become the highly respected and credible source of cutting-edge information in the science, technology and management of soil generation, fertility and nutrition related to crop productivity and quality, pollution and ecosystems. The journal will also provide a global platform to promote worldwide academic exchange and knowledge/technology dissemination in the field of soil science, agriculture, environmental and ecological sustainability.

Soil Science and Environment primarily publishes basic research that represents significant advances or new insights into the understanding of specialized areas, review articles that provide comprehensive, systematic, and critical review of a current research area and those offer directions or perspective for future research in soil sciences, environment and agricultural and rural ecology. The journal also publishes applied research that addresses the conservation and management of soil resources, biodiversity and landscape for promoting environment-friendly agriculture and protecting natural capitals in rural areas.
