Food Innovation and Advances provides fully gold open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports the global exchange of knowledge. All articles in Food Innovation and Advances are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY) licenseGold OA allows the final version of an article or manuscript freely and permanently accessible for everyone, immediately after publication. The authors retain the copyright for the article and most of the permission barriers are removed.
