Article Processing Charges
Food Innovation and Advances is an Open-Access journal supported by article processing charges (APCs).
APC Rate
Food Innovation and Advances levies an Article Processing Charges (APC) per article. Only accepted paper will be charged. Authors whose work is accepted for publication are responsible for paying an APC. The APC for all published articles is as follows (plus VAT or local taxes where applicable): $2250 USD.
Food Innovation and Advances offers APC waivers until June 2026.
Food Innovation and Advances is currently financially supported by China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University and Shenyang Agricultural University.
The consideration of your submission for publication will remain unaffected by your request for fee support (discount or waiver).
Waivers
Beginning July 2026, the journal Food Innovation and Advances will offer full APC waivers to corresponding authors in the Least Developed Countries (https://unctad.org/topic/least-developed-countries/list). In addition, full or partial waivers may be available to those experiencing financial hardships. Authors should submit a waiver or discount request during the submission of their article. Please request your waiver or discount at the point of submission.
